For sale is 1500 +/-acres of fee title land with mineral and geothermal rights located in a known producing geothermal field and has an existing power plant contiguous to the property which use geothermal fluids to generate electricity. Completed in October of 2010 was a geothermal well drilled to a depth of 6,760 feet and cased to the bottom establishing a 298 degree farenheit resource with projections that may reach in excess of 400 degrees farenhiet. The property is permitted for 14 geothermal wells and has developed fresh water wells which produce 8,000 gpm fresh water.These wells can be used for cooling water for a large power producing facility. An additional resource well was drilled in the year 2000 to a depth of 2,850 feet, which is project to be used as a fluid monitoring well in the geothermal field contained within the subject property. There exists with the property an in and out tap on the 20"Tuscarora gas line which can be used in conjunction with a co-generation plant utilizing geothermal preheat. The projection of the geothermal resource on the subject property is sufficient to power a 40 Mega Watt electrical generating plant. The property has 2 transmission lines in place consisting of a 345 Kv line which wheels power to the Reno area and a 60 Kv which wheels power to the San Francisco area, which can be utilized to transmit electricity generated on the property. Contained within the property are washed gravels of approx.10 million ton,approx.100 million ton of basalt and approx.40 million ton of Monterrey class sand.This property is multifaceted and has many uses for income producing ventures. Owner may consider joint venture with the right party. |
